Jakarta Barat — Kwartir Cabang (Kwarcab) Gerakan Pramuka Jakarta Barat menggelar Seleksi Tim Satuan Protokol tingkat cabang pada Minggu (26/4) di Gedung Sekretariat Kwarcab Jakarta Barat. Sebanyak 15 Pramuka Penegak dan Pandega mengikuti kegiatan ini untuk memperebutkan posisi dalam tim protokol tahun 2026.
Kegiatan dibuka secara resmi oleh Waka Bina Muda Kwarcab Jakarta Barat Kak Ahmad Prabudi yang dalam sambutannya menegaskan bahwa peran protokol tidak terbatas pada kemampuan teknis semata, seperti baris-berbaris, tetapi juga mencakup aspek sikap, kepekaan sosial, serta etika dalam berinteraksi.
“Protokol bukan hanya baris-berbaris, tetapi juga mencerminkan attitude, kepekaan sosial, hingga table manner. Ini adalah bagian dari pembentukan karakter,” ujarnya.
Hal senada disampaikan Dewie yang menekankan pentingnya kesiapan diri dalam menjalankan tugas keprotokolan. Menurutnya, kemampuan melayani dengan baik berawal dari kesiapan pribadi yang matang.
“Protokol adalah cerminan kesiapan, ketanggapan, dan etika seseorang. Melayani orang lain dengan baik dimulai dari kesiapan diri sendiri,” katanya.
Dalam proses seleksi, peserta menjalani sejumlah tahapan penilaian, di antaranya wawancara, praktik baris-berbaris, serta simulasi penanganan pimpinan, tamu, dan tata upacara dalam ruangan. Seluruh rangkaian dirancang untuk mengukur kemampuan teknis sekaligus kualitas kepribadian peserta.
Melalui seleksi ini, Kwarcab Jakarta Barat berharap dapat membentuk tim protokol yang tidak hanya terampil, tetapi juga memiliki integritas, disiplin, dan jiwa pelayanan yang tinggi dalam mendukung setiap kegiatan kepramukaan di tingkat cabang maupun daerah.
